Girls flag football is one of the fastest-growing opportunities in youth sports, creating new pathways for athletes to compete, develop, and experience the benefits of team play. To help support this growth, the RCX Sports Foundation is proud to launch the Girls Flag Starter Kit Grant, designed to help schools, nonprofits, and youth organizations start or expand girls flag football programs.
Why This Matters
As participation continues to grow at the high school and collegiate levels, communities across the country are looking for ways to introduce more girls to the game. The RCX Sports Foundation is committed to removing barriers by providing the equipment and resources needed to get programs up and running.
Through this initiative, RCX will distribute 1,000 girls flag football starter kits nationwide to organizations that are ready to launch or grow their programs.
What Each Kit Includes
Each Girls Flag Starter Kit contains high-quality equipment from Franklin Sports, a trusted leader in sporting goods.
Each kit includes:
- 10 Pop Flag Belt Sets
- 5 Pinnies
- 1 Coaches Kit (10 cones, 1 ball pump, 1 carry bag)
- 2 Footballs
These kits are designed to give programs everything needed to begin training and playing immediately.
Who Should Apply
We are prioritizing organizations that:
- Serve new or underserved athletes
- Are ready to activate within 3–6 months
- Want to grow participation in girls flag football
- Support safe, inclusive youth sports opportunities
Recipients will join a growing national movement helping build the future of girls flag football from youth leagues to collegiate pathways.
