Though the project is not yet complete, the foundation is already strong: rooted in purpose and driven by passion.
About the Project
The Izell Reese Community Center will be a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to community service, youth engagement, STEM education, workforce development and support of local business, and nonprofit organizations. Spearheaded by the RCX Sports Foundation and inspired by Izell Reese’s lifelong commitment to service, the center will bring the Dothan community together to create positive and lasting change among its citizens.

Izell Reese’s journey from humble beginnings in Dothan, Alabama to the NFL and beyond is a story of grit, grace, and giving back. As CEO of RCX Sports and President of the RCX Foundation, Reese has dedicated his career to expanding access to youth sports and creating pathways for underserved communities.
History & Evolution
Planting the First Seed
The seeds of this project were planted years ago with the installation of a flag football field and the opening of its doors to local business and nonprofits organizations that needed a place to operate. Those efforts sparked a movement that brought together coaches, families, and community leaders.
Momentum to Vision
As momentum grows, so has the vision. Phase two of the construction of the Izell Reese Community Center is the next chapter—a permanent home for programs that have already begun changing lives.

From a single field to a full-fledged facility that features a STEM lab, dedicated spaces for workforce readiness programming, a health and wellness center and co-working and office space for local businesses, this is a story of growth, grit, and grassroots support.
