Premier collegiate flag football tournament brings together the sport’s top programs and spotlights the next generation of elite talent.
ATLANTA, GA (May 1, 2026) — The RCX Sports Foundation today announced the 2026 Women’s College Flag Finals, set to take place May 6–9 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The event represents the premier collegiate flag football tournament in the country and will bring together female college teams from across the NCAA and NAIA to compete for the national title.
The Women’s College Flag Finals will run alongside the NAIA Women’s Flag Football Invitational, which will feature the top eight NAIA teams competing in their official national championship. The multi-day tournament will host hundreds of athletes and coaches from across the country, as the sport continues its acceleration and institutional support.
The Women’s College Flag Finals represent the absolute pinnacle of the sport at the collegiate level, and we are proud to have the RCX Sports Foundation host and operate this premier event.
From youth leagues to high school programs to unprecedented opportunities at the collegiate level, we are witnessing the culmination of years of growth for the sport. With flag football heading to the 2028 Olympic Games and women’s flag football being added to the NCAA Emerging Sports for Women program, the momentum has never been stronger.
Events like this provide athletes the stage they deserve and showcase the future of women’s football.
— Izell Reese, CEO, RCX Sports
Since launching in 2021, the Women’s College Flag Finals have grown significantly in scale and visibility, with previous host locations including Atlanta, Kansas City, and now the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. All games from the tournament will be livestreamed on BallerTV, the Official Streaming Partner of the 2026 Women’s College Flag Finals. Gatorade and local Bradenton Jersey Mike’s Subs will also serve as proud partners, helping elevate the experience for athletes and fans.
Earlier this year, flag football was added to the NCAA Emerging Sports for Women program, a critical step toward broader varsity adoption and eventual championship status. This progress is being accelerated by efforts like RCX Sports’ Females in Flag initiative, created in partnership with the NFL and NFL FLAG to build a clear pathway for girls to play and advance from youth leagues to high school and collegiate competition.
